Experience of Xu Zhenye in Treating Brain Tumors

This article introduced the experience of Professor Xu Zhenye in treating brain tumors.Professor Xu believes that brain tumors belong to the syndrome of deficient essence and excessive symptoms,that the deficiency is related to liver-kidney yin deficiency and spleen deficiency,while the excess is caused by hyperactive liver yang causing wind and phlegm and stagnation blocking meridians.Therefore,the treatment should be clarifying symptoms,essence,deficiency and excess,severity,lightness,and urgency,combining supplementing and eliminating,which is to say,tonifying kidney to replenish essence,nourishing liver yin to tonify renal yin,replenishing qi and spleen to strengthen essence,softening hard lumps and dissipate stagnation,dissolving phlegm and reducing blood stasis,stopping endogenous wind and removing obstruction in meridians to dispel tumors.
