Considerations of the improved modular hospital ships employed in a landing campaign

To investigate the characteristics of casualty types and medical support in a landing campaign, the significance of emergence of modular hospital ships as well as the present status and deficiencies of our modular hospital ship. The paper also puts forth suggestions for the rectification of its deficiencies. In the authors' opinion, the modular hospital ship is the main development trend of future hospital ship, which is easier and more economical to put up. However, further improvement and modification should be done to the present modular medical systems, so that the modular hospital ship might play a better role in the medical support of future landing campaigns.
