关注干眼的诊断问题

干眼是一类涉及眼表多部位的多病因疾病,严重影响患者的生活质量.正确地诊断干眼是进行合适治疗的必要条件.笔者通过分析干眼定义的变化,综合目前临床诊断干眼的各种手段及其优缺点,提出用于准确判断患者是否存在干眼的有效方法,从而避免治疗的盲目性.

Focus on dry eye diagnosis

Dry eye is a multifactorial problem involving the nerve, lacrimal glands, the eyelids, ocular surface and lacrimal duct, which might cause a major difficulty in patients' life. It is essential to establish an accurate diagnosis of dry eye for the successful of treatment. In this article the changes of dry eye definition are analyzed and the evaluation of various clinical diagnostic tools is summarized. The advantages and disadvantages of different types of diagnostic tools are compared systemically. Only by using an efficient method to establish an accurate dry eye diagnosis, oculists can avoid treating dry eye blindly.
