医学院校大学生中国文化英语表达能力调查与对策研究

语言与文化是密不可分的。在外语教学中既要重视目的语文化背景知识的介绍,也不可忽略对母语文化的融入和传播。由于长期以来英语教学中存在着对中国文化输入的欠缺,导致学习者用英语表达中国文化的能力与其实际的英语水平不一致,从而导致跨文化交际障碍。在调查和分析了非英语专业大学生用英语表达中国文化的能力及中国文化输入现状的基础上,提出了对中国文化的导入策略。

A Survey on College Students' Competence of Expressing Chinese Culture in English and Countermeasures

There exists a close relation between language and culture. In foreign language teaching attention should be paid to both cultural background knowledge of the target language and integration and transmission of the culture of the source language. However, the failure of introducing Chinese culture and misunderstanding of Chinese culture in cross-cultural communication are becoming an evident phenomenon. Based on a test of students＇ competence of expressing Chinese culture in English and a survey of the opinions on learning Chinese culture, the present paper discusses the problems in English teaching in China and proposes some ways to change the situation so as to improve Chinese students＇ cross-cultural communicative competence.
