胸水中Klotho蛋白表达水平在鉴别良恶性胸腔积液中的意义

摘    要:目的:探讨胸水中Klotho蛋白表达水平是否可以作为鉴别良恶性胸腔积液的生物标记物。方法:收集2016年8月至2017年8月我科住院的胸腔积液原因待查患者的基本信息,收集胸水标本,分为良性胸腔积液组(33例),恶性胸腔积液组(21例),采用ELISA方法检测胸水标本中Klotho蛋白的表达水平。结果:恶性胸腔积液组Klotho蛋白表达水平明显高于良性胸腔积液组(P<0.001),且Klotho蛋白表达水平与年龄、尿素氮/肌酐、血清/胸水癌胚抗原(CEA)无明显相关性。结论:Klotho蛋白在恶性胸腔积液中的表达水平明显升高,且不受年龄及肾功能的影响,可以作为鉴别良恶性胸腔积液的生物标记物,仍需要更大样本量临床研究进一步证实。

Abstract:Objective:To investigate whether Klotho protein could be a biomarker for discriminating between benign and malignant pleural effusion.Methods:Basic data of patients with pleural effusion in our hospital from August 2016 to August 2017 were collected.The samples of pleural effusion were collected from these patients and divided into benign pleural effusion group (33 cases),malignant pleural effusion group (21 cases).The level of Klotho protein in pleural effusion samples was detected by ELISA.Results:The level of Klotho protein was significantly higher in the malignant pleural effusion group than in the benign pleural effusion group (P<0.001).Moreover,the expression level of Klotho protein had no correlation with age,urea nitrogen/creatinine,serum/pleural effusion cancer embryo antigen (CEA).Conclusion:Klotho protein level significantly increased in malignant pleural effusion,and was irrelevant with age,and renal function,indicating that Klotho could be a biomarker for the discrimination between benign and malignant pleural effusion.However,clinical studies based on larger sample size needed to further confirm these results.
