知情选择社区干预对农村已婚育龄妇女避孕知识的影响

目的评估避孕节育知情选择社区干预对农村已婚育龄妇女避孕知识的影响。方法在三个农村项目县,干预社区在计划生育常规工作的基础上,开展知情选择社区干预,对照社区开展计划生育常规工作。通过结构式问卷调查测量育龄妇女的避孕知识水平,评估干预的效果。结果无论是不同种类避孕方法的知识还是避孕知识的不同方面比较,干预组的增加值均高于对照组,两组得分增加值均数之比最高为长效不可逆类避孕方法,达到4.00;最低为长效可逆类避孕方法,两组之比为1.65。避孕知识不同方面的比较,两组增加值均数之比最高为用法知识,达到8.15;最低为原理知识,增加值均数之比为1.93。干预组避孕知识总体增加值为对照组的2.54倍。结论避孕节育知情选择社区干预可以帮助农村已婚育龄群众提高避孕知识水平。

Impacts of a Community-based Intervention of Informed Choice on Contraceptive Knowledge Levels among Married Women of Reproductive Age in Rural Area

Objective To evaluate the impacts of a community based intervention of informed choice on contraceptives on contraceptive knowledge levels among women with childbearing age in rural area.Methods A community-based intervention study was conducted in 3 rural Counties.In each county,several villages were randomly assigned to either intervention group or control group.In the intervention group,routine family planning work and informed choice on contraceptives were implemented,while only routine family planning work was conducted in the control group.By conducting questionnaire survey among women of reproductive age and focus group discussions among FP managers,service providers and clients before and after project implementation,the study evaluated the impacts of informed choice on people's contraceptive knowledge.Results Both the comparison on knowledge of different kinds of contraceptives and on different aspects of those methods between the intervention group and the control group showed that,the increments in the former were higher than that in the latter.The largest increment of knowledge score in the intervention group,found in long-term irreversible contraceptives,was 4 times as high as that in the control group,while the smallest increment was found in long-term reversible contraceptives but the ratio was still as high as 1.65.As to contraceptive knowledge,the highest increment was in the knowledge on contraceptive usage(8.15 times)and the lowest was in the principles of contraceptives(1.93 times).The general increment of contraceptive knowledge in the intervention group was 2.54 times as high as that in the control group.Conclusion The community-based intervention of informed choice has effectively improved the contraceptive knowledge levels among women with childbearing age in rural area.
