Comparative Study of Ultrasonic Elastography with Conventional Ultrasound in Differential Diagnosing of Breast Lesions

Objective： To compare the value of ultrasonic elastography（UE） and conventional ultrasound（CUS,including gray-scale ultrasonography,color doppler flow imaging and doppler spectrum） in differentiating the benign and malignant of breast lesions.Method： The static sonograms of CUS and UE of the 135 breast lesions which pathologically proved were reviewed.And compared the accuracy of CUS and UE for diagnosing the benign and malignant of breast lesions.Result： The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy of UE were 89.1%,94.4%,92.6% respectively,and those of CUS were 84.8%,74.2%,77.8%respectively.Conclusion： The specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic elastography are much higher than conventional ultrasound for differential diagnosing benign and malignant breast lesions.
