| Abstract: | By radial immunodiffusion of several sera in commercially available IgA plates two precipitation rings were obtained. Double precipitation was demonstrated to be due to the presence of pregnancy-associated α2-glycoprotein in sera of some adult females.Calculation of the concentration based on ring size measurement of the two precipitation rings in these instances does not lead to erroneous values if the diffusion is allowed to reach completion. |
