| Abstract: | A case of non-bacterial thrombotic endocarditis, which causedacute aortic regurgitation in a middle-aged, otherwise healthywoman, is presented. The diagnosis was confirmed with echocardiographyand documented by a histopathological study of the excised aorticvalve after operation for valve replacement. |
