| Abstract: | Based on the method of assessing the growing age of trees by "annual ring in the bark", the active ingredients magnolol and honokiol in 3 species Houpo (Magnolia officinalis, M. biloba, M. rostrata) of different ages, were determined by HPLC. The results present a reference for defining the reasonable period of collection and quality evaluation of Houpo. |
