摘    要:对131名中老年男子进行观察测定,结果表明长期健身跑可阻止体内自由基水平的升高,减少自由基对组织细胞的损伤,从而起到延缓衰老的作用。

Abstract:To study the effect of jogging on aging, both serum lipid peroxides (LPO) and erythrocyte superoxide dismutase activity (SODa) of different erythrocyte cell age groups of 131 healthy males were assessed. Therewere 30 young men aged about 20 in Group C20, 20 sedentaries aged 50-59 in Group C50, 29 sedentariesaged 60-69 in Group C60, 28 joggers aged 50-59 who jogged at 9.40±2.94km/hr, for 31.96±21.34km/wkfor 15.6±6.9yrs in Group J50, and 24 joggers aged 60-69 who jogged at 7.69±2.01km/hr, for 30.63±15.16km/wk for 16.5±10.1 yrs in Group J60. SODa of botb top and bottom layers of erythrocytes aftercentrifugation at 20℃, 6000rpm for 90min was investigated by means of the autoxidation of pyrogallol, andLPO was determined by the contents of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances in the serum. Mean corpuscularhemoglobin concentration (MCHC) of the bottoms was 1.073±0.095 times that of the tops. SODa of the topsand bottoms were 2743±285 and 2575±247 (u/g Hb) in C50, 3064±478 and 2834±400 in J50, 2646±393and 2523±276 in C60, and 3029±420 and 2814±388 in J60, respectively. These values were significantly lowerthan those in C20 (3507±360 and 3135±321; p<0.01, respectively), while the differences between the joggersand sedentaries were statistically significant (either p<0.05 or p<0.01). LPO in C50 and C60 were 8.386±1.465 and 9.392±2.046 (nM malondialdehyde/ml) and significantly differed from that in C20 (5.926±1.016,p<0.01, respectively). The joggers got less LPO (7.941±1.889 in J50 and 7.723±1.872 in J60) as comparedwith C50 and C60 (p<0.05 and p<0.01, respectively). We conclude that a long-term-jogging might makethe function of the free radical clearing system remain at a more efficient condition, decrease the level of freeradicals in the body, reduce the damages caused by free radicals, and, thus, decelerate the process of aging.
