| Abstract: | A rare paraganglioma of the cauda equina is reported. The clinical, radiological and histological features of this neoplasm are described. Diagnosis was resolved by the absence of glial fibrillary acid protein and electron microscopic evidence of neurosecretory features. Relevant literature is reviewed. |
