Efficacy and safety of vonoprazan and amoxicillin for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori-infected gastric ulcer

Objective To discuss the clinical effect and safety of vonoprazan and amoxicillin for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-infected gastric ulcer.Methods A total of 100 patients with Hp-infected gastric ulcer were randomly divided into research group(53 cases)and control group(47 cases).The research group was treated with vonoprazan and amoxicillin,and the control group was treated with standard triple therapy.The therapeutic effect,Hp eradication rate,occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment of the research group was 98.11%,which was higher than 85.11%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=5.7258,P=0.0167<0.05).The Hp eradication rate of the research group was 94.34%,which was higher than 78.72%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=5.3711,P=0.0205<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of the research group was 5.66%,which had no statistically significant difference compared with 4.26%of the control group(χ^2=0.1035,P=0.7476>0.05).Conclusion Vonoprazan combined with amoxicillin shows definite effect for the treatment of Hp-infected gastric ulcer with high safety,which is worthy of clinical reference and promotion.
