| Abstract: | Objective To determine the contents of luteolin and total flavonoids from Folium Vitex negundo. Methods HPLC was performed on kromasil C is （250 mm× 4.6 mm,5 μm） column with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.03% H3PO4（25：75 ） at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,and the UV detector was set at 350 nm. Total flavonoids were determined by Aluminum nitrate chromogenic method. Results The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0. 184 - 1. 564 μg （ r = 0. 999 1 ） , and the average recovery ratio was 99.22%. The average contents of luteolin and total flavonoids from Folium Vitex negundo were 0. 364 and 10.96 mg/g. Conclusion The determination methods were simple, rapid and reproducible, and suitable for the quality control of Folium Vitex negundo. |
