| Abstract: | Objective To explore anxiety and depression of junior middle school students before examination.Methods Carrying out survey on SDS and SAS for grade one and three junior middle school students in a week before examination in Shanghai.Results Significant correlations were found between grade one and grade three students in SAS and SDS（P0.05）.Significant gender differences also existed in SDS（P0.001） ,female students scores significantly higher than their male in items like depression（P0.05）,prone to cry（P0.01）,easy to feel fatigue（P0.05）,and easy to be irritated（P0.01）.Conclusion A certain proportion of junior middle school students suffer from anxiety and depression before examination. |
