运用安宁疗护的理念、知识和技巧，对结肠癌终末期的一例患者进行安宁疗护的实践，帮助患者减轻腹痛、腹胀等症状，评估患者的精神需求与困扰，采取尊严治疗，并在心理上、精神上给予辅导与帮助；在引导家属有效参与患者护理的同时，尊重患者意愿和自主权，帮助他们完成可行的愿望，最终达到让逝者安详、让生者无憾的目的。
