Abstract: | Abstract: Aspergillosis is the second most frequent opportunistic fungal infection in solid organ transplant recipients; however, cutaneous aspergillosis occurs very rarely. Herein, we report a 34-yr-old male renal transplant recipient with secondary cutaneous aspergillosis due to Aspergillus fumigatus in whom cutaneous lesions led to the correct diagnosis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of secondary cutaneous aspergillosis reported in the setting of a solid organ transplantation. |
