Curative Effect of Early Endplate Fistulation in the Treatment of Acute Hydrocephalus after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Objective:To investigate the effect of early endplate fistulation in the treatment of acute hydrocephalus after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.Methods:88 patients with acute hydrocephalus after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage in a hospital from January 2014 to January 2019 were selected.Among them,40 patients treated with simple transcranial aneurysm clipping were selected as the control group and 48 patients treated with endplate fistulation were selected as the observation group.The curative effect of two groups was observed.Results:The rate of good outcome in the observation group was 60.42%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(37.50%),and the rate of good outcome of pateints with posterior circulation in observation group(76.68%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(28.57%)(P<0.05).The incidence of shunt dependent hydrocephalus in the observation group(5.26%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(42.86%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early craniotomy aneurysm clipping and endplate fistulation can improve the curative effect of acute hydrocephalus after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage,especially in patients with posterior circulation aneurysms,with high value of treatment.
