人工角膜植入术

角膜移植无法成功的患者(如严重化学烧伤、眼瘢痕性类天疱疮、Stevens-Johnson综合征等)给眼科医生带来极大挑战。虽然人工角膜手术并发症危险较高，却能为这类患者带来一线复明的希望。目前国内条件下，人工角膜植入术应由具备丰富的角膜病诊疗经验和熟练的眼科手术专家合作下开展，适应证应严格限制，仅用于无法用其它方法达到复明的双眼角膜盲患者。术后严密定期随访和及时处理并发症是维持复明效果的重要保证。随着人工角膜材料、设计的进步，未来可能有真正意义上的人工角膜供临床使用。

Keratoprosthesis and its clinical application

The success rate of penetrating keratoplasty (PK) is almost zero for those patients complicated with factors such as severe chemical burns,ocular cicatricial pemphigoid,Stevens-Johnson syndrome or recurrent graft failure,that is a great challenge to ophthalmologists.The application of currently available keratoprostheses (KPros) may give those patients a chance for visual rehabilitation although complication risk is high.At present,KPros must be used for carefully selected patients (bilateral blindness and no hope through any other procedures) with strict indications,and the surgery should be performed by experienced ophthalmic surgeons.Close and regular follow-up and management of complications in time are extremely important for maintaining of both visual function and KPros stability.Better materials and designs are on the way and the true artificial cornea will be developed soon.
