Study on Academic Thought of Xu Jun's Dongyi Baojian

On the basis of an overall analysis of Dongyi Baojian, This paper summed up the Xu's academic thought as following: his medical theory based on Taoist-Buddhist thought; the regimen was keeping essence, Qi and vitality; the prerequisite to the treatment for illness of essence, Qi and vitality was to find out etiological organ; and the principle of the treatment was essence replenishing, Qi regulating and mind tranquilizing.
