Evaluation of the U.S. Air Force HEART program demonstration

The HEART program is being demonstrated on four Air Force bases to provide experience that will aid in making plans to extend the program Air Force-wide. Much of the experience will be preserved in the form of two major types of data. One type is the medical and biographical data from the participants, some of which is used in conducting the HEART program activities. The other type of data, relating to the performance of these activities, includes office records and results of some studies designed to furnish detailed information about some of the program activities. We outline plans for summarizing the data and presenting it in a form that will be useful to those who will plan the Air Force-wide program.
