Abstract:Objective To study the influence of coping strategies on anxiety state in different sexual senior middle school students,and provide theoretical basis of psychological intervention for them.Methods Using State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Coping Style Questionnaire to investigate 170 senior middle school students.Then the anxiety states and coping styles of the students between different sexes were compared and analized.Results For anxiety states,boys' were significantly lower than girls' (t=-2.41,P〈0.05),but there was no significant difference for most coping styles between boys and girls.For boys,the coping styles,which could influence anxiety state,included problem-solving and help-seeking(r=0.28,-0.43).For girls,the coping styles,which could influence anxiety state,included problem-solving,self-blame,hallucination and reasoning (r=-0.52,0.39,0.32,0.31).Conclusion There are differences for influences of coping strategies on anxiety state between different sexes.And psychological intervention for senior middle school students should fit the different characteristics between boys and girls.
