保元汤古代文献分析与现代研究概况

保元汤是《古代经典名方目录（第一批）》收载的经典名方之一，已具有500多年应用历史，现代广泛用于治疗元气不足、虚损劳怯等。通过分析明、清两代具有代表性的中医古籍结合现代研究，分析、总结了保元汤来源、组成、药效等，综述保元汤的古代和现代文献研究概况，为建立保元汤物质基准质量标准提供了参考。通过研究发现，保元汤早期用以治疗小儿痘疹类疾病，随着社会发展，历代医家通过在临床实践中不断摸索，赋予了保元汤新的内涵，使其临床治疗疾病的范围得到扩充。现代医家将保元汤及其加减方临床用于冠心病、再生障碍性贫血、慢性肾功能衰竭、慢性肾炎、白细胞减少等多种疾病，充分说明保元汤临床效果显著，具有潜在开发价值。

Ancient Literature and Modern Research on Baoyuan Decoction

Baoyuan decoction, as a classical formula in the Catalogue of Ancient Classical Formulas (The First Batch), has been applied for more than 500 years since the Ming dynasty. This formula is still widely used for vitality improvement and fatigue relieving. We summarized the historical evolution and modern application of Baoyuan decoction, aiming to pave the way for the establishment of its standards. We collected and analyzed the ancient literature and modern published scientific papers to clarify the sourcing, composition, and efficacy of Baoyuan decoction. A total of ancient book and records describing Baoyuan decoction in detail from the early Ming dynasty to the late Qing dynasty were screened out. The recent scientific reports demonstrate that this decoction can be employed to treat coronary heart disease, aplastic anaemia, chronic renal failure, chronic nephritis, leukopenia and so on. According to the literature, Baoyuan decoction is not an out-of-date traditional formula for the treatment of pox on children in ancient China. Moreover, it is applicable for people to keep healthy in modern times and possesses the potential for industrial production.
