The Role of an Optometric Emergency Unit in a Natural Disaster |

| Abstract: | Following the recent Darwin Disaster caused by Cyclone Tracy, the Federal Government requested the presence of an Optometric Emergency Unit in Darwin to assist in the rehabilitation programme. The authors flew to Darwin to supply this need. The role of this unit in the emergency is analysed and some suggestions concerning an Optometric Emergency Unit are made. |
