| Abstract: | Cotton rats infected intranasally with respiratory syncytial virus and immunosuppressed with cyclophosphamide shed virus for at least 7 weeks. Dissemination of virus beyond the respiratory tract was observed. In contrast, virus was recovered from infected, non-immunosuppressed rats for only 1 week, and only from the respiratory tract. |
