| Abstract: | Purpose Afferent stimulus arising from gallbladder and its bed may elicit reflex inhibition of the diaphragm. Pulmonary function would be improved by blocking this stimulus after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This randomized prospective study evaluated this hypothesis in patients who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. |
