Abstract: | Down syndrome is associated with an increased incidence of cutaneous manifestations such as atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, elastosis perforans serpiginosa, syringomas, and skin infections. We describe 3 patients with Down syndrome: an 8-year-old boy with alopecia areata, a 17-year-old boy with crusted scabies, and a 39-year-old woman with a cutaneous collagen vascular disease-like disorder. We also review cutaneous signs of this syndrome. |
