| Abstract: | Nifedipine-loaded polyacrylate(Eudragit RL and RS)sustainedrelease microspheres were prepared using the liquid drying process. Effect of preparation conditions on size of microspheres and drug incorporation efficiency was investigated. The mean diameter of microspheres decreased with increase in stirring rate and decrease in polymer concentration, while no significant effect was observed with different drug payloads and Eudragit RL/RS ratios.The drug incorporation efficiency was affected in a narrow range by the conditions. |
