Integrative Viewpoint on Correction of Scoliosis

For the correction of three major deformities(incurvation of some segments of the spine,eminence of razor back on convex side and collapse on concave side)in scoliosis,based on Harrington's operation,the authors have performed segmental costatectomy on razor back, to prop up curved spine, and elevate the ribs on concave side,It is shown that these procedures have marked effects on improving the outlook.In the correction of these complicated deformities,the integrative viewpoint should be emphasized.
