| Abstract: | Adopting the theory of surface tension,the paper illustrates that the spherical liquid level produces additional pressure,Based on this theory the paper further proves that the cooperation of surface tension and surfactants is the physical basis to maintain normal respiration.The paper also points out the physical causes of atelectasis. |
