Comparison of Clinical Results of Two Kinds of Laparoscopic Myomectomy and Transabdominal Myomectomy

Objective： To compare clinical results between taparoscopic myomectomy （LM） and transabdominal myomectomy（TAM）. Methods： We analysed the clinical data of 140 LMs and 86 TAMs performed in PLA General Hospital. The following data was analysed： the patients＇ age, procreation condition, pelvic surgery history, myoma size, number and type, operation time, blood loss and blood transfusion ratio, recovery time of bowel function, postoperative hospital stay, analgesia ratio and fever ratio. Results： There was no statistic difference in patients＇age, myoma size, number and type, blood loss, blood transfusion ratio and fever ratio between the two groups （P 〉 0.05）. The unprocreative in the LM group were more than the TAM group （P 〈 0.01）, and the patients who had pelvic surgery history in the TAM group were more than the LM group（P 〈 0.01）. Compared to patients undergoing TAM, patients undergoing LM had longer operating time, shorter recovery time of bowel function, shorter postoperative hospital stay and lower analgesia ratio （P〈 0.01）. Conclusion： Compared with TAM, LM have the advantage with less trauma and quicker recovery, shorter hospital stay. Before operation, such factors as patients＇ individual condition, operators＇skill and experience should be thought over to realize the true individuation and micro-wound for myomectomy.
