The Research Progress on Anti-tumor Effect of Phenethyl Isothiocyanate

Phenethyl isothiocyanate （PEITC） is a common artificial synthetic antitumor monomer,with good anti-tumor effect.At present,the anti-tumor effect of PEITC in liver cancer,breast cancer,multiple myeloma and other malignant tumor has been confirmed,with significant apoptosis-inducing effect.Here is to make a review of PEITC＇s role of preventing cancer,inducing apoptosis of tumor cells and inhibiting invasion and metastasis,besides,many clinical studies found that PEITC also has remarkable anti-inflammatory and immunity improving efficacy.Therefore,PEITC is an ideal anti-cancer agent,which will play a very important role in the anti-tumor field in the future,and is worth of clinical promotion and application.
