被动吸烟与2型糖尿病的关系

被动吸烟是2型糖尿病(T2DM)发生的独立危险因子,两者之间存在剂量反应关系,被动吸烟可影响T2DM患者的血糖血脂控制,并促进他们的一些并发症(如心血管疾病、糖尿病肾病)的发生、发展。其机制可能主要与被动吸烟引起的胰岛素抵抗,脂代谢紊乱有关。研究被动吸烟与T2DM及其并发症间的关系,可以为T2DM及其并发症的防治提供新的理论基础和临床指导。

Passive Smoking and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Recent studies have shown that tobacco smoke pollution is an independent risk factor for type 2 diabetes mellitus（ T2DM）, and there is a dose-responso relationship between them. Passive smoking can affect the control of blood glucose and lipid of patients with T2DM and promote the progress and deterioration of complications of diabetes such as cardiovascular disease, diabetic nephropathy. The mechanism may mainly involve insulin resistance, lipid metabolism disorder caused by passive smoking. The research of the relation- ship between passive smoking and T2DM and its complications may provide a new theoretical basis and clinical guidance for the prevention and treatment of T2DM and its complications.
