Clinical Observation on Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Decoction in the Treatment of Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective To explore the effect of Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu decoction on patients with active rheumatoid arthritis and gastrointestinal injury.Methods 70 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in Northern Theatre General Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army were collected and randomly divided into two groups.The control group received Methotrexate tablets,diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets and folic acid tablets,and the experimental group received more with Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu decoction.The clinical efficacy,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,anti CCP antibody level and gastrointestinal injury rate were compared between 2 groups.Results Compared with the control group,the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher(P<0.05),the erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein and anti CCP antibody levels in the experimental group were lower(P<0.05),and the gastrointestinal injury rate in the experimental group was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with active rheumatoid arthritis and protect the gastrointestinal function of patients.
