Effect of Modified Shenghua Decoction in the Sequential Treatment of Uterine Repair after Painless Abortion

Objective To explore the effect of sequential treatment with modified Shenghua decoction on uterine repair after painless induced abortion.Methods 300 patients who underwent painless induced abortion in Jiangsu Province Hospital of Integrate Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2019 to December 2020 were randomly divided into three groups.The control group was given routine anti-infection treatment,the western medicine group was given oral estradiol tablets/estradiol-progesterone tablets on the basis of the control group,and the traditional Chinese medicine group was given sequential treatment of modified Shenghua decoction on the basis of the control group.The amount and time of vaginal bleeding,the time of first menstrual resurgence and endometrial thickness were compared among the three groups,and the occurrence of postoperative complications and possible adverse reactions were recorded.Results The traditional Chinese medicine group was superior to the other two groups in controlling vaginal bleeding volume,bleeding duration and first menstrual resurgence time,and there had statistical difference(P<0.05).Three weeks after operation,the endometrial thickness of traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference between Chinese medicine group and western medicine group.The total incidence of postoperative complications in the control group was about 9.0%,that in the western medicine group was about 2.0%,and that in the Chinese medicine group was about 1.0%.Adverse events occurred in 7 cases in the western medicine group,but no adverse reactions occurred in the traditional Chinese medicine group and the control group.Conclusion Sequential treatment with modified Shenghua decoction can reduce bleeding time and amount after painless induced abortion,promote uterine repair,restore menstruation on schedule,and reduce postoperative complications.It is safe and worthy of clinical application.
