Clinical Observation on Chinese Medicine Combined with Thermo-sensitive Acupoints Catgut Embedding in the Treatment of Postoperative Constipation of Thoracolumbar Compression Fracture

Objective To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of postoperative constipation of thoracolumbar compression fracture with the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and thermo-sensitive acupoints catgut embedding.Methods 60 patients with postoperative constipation of thoracolumbar compression fracture were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with thermo-sensitive acupoints catgut embedding,while the control group was treated with oral lactulose solution for two weeks.The first defecation time,constipation severity score and clinical symptoms were used as observation indexes to evaluate the efficacy.Results The total clinical effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the constipation severity score of the two groups after treatment and during follow-up was significantly better than that before treatment.The constipation severity score of the treatment group after treatment and during follow-up was significantly better than that of the control group,and the first defecation time of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion It is better to treat constipation after thoracolumbar compression fracture operation with Chinese herbal medicine and thermo-sensitive acupoints catgut embedding,which is better than oral lactulose solution.
