胰岛素对血管内皮细胞的作用

生理浓度或病理性高浓度的胰岛素对血管内皮细胞具有多种直接作用.它可影响内皮细胞对多种血管舒缩因子(一氧化氮、内皮素等)的合成及分泌、刺激其表达多种黏附分子、调控其增殖及凋亡.这些研究揭示了高胰岛素血症作为心血管疾病的独立危险因素,在动脉粥样硬化的发生、发展中起一定的作用.

Effects of insulin on endothelial cells

Insulin, at physiological or pathophysiological concentrations, has many direct influences on endothelial cells. It may affect the release of many endothelium-derived vasodilating and vasoconstricting factors( nitric oxide, endothelin, etc), stimulate the expression of many adhesion molecules and control the proliferation and apoptosis of endothelial cells. These findings suggest that hyperinsulinemia, as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, may play a role in the development of atherosclerosis.
