Abstract: | The most frequent viral pathogens which are the cause of nosocomial infections were presented. Influenza and parainfluenza viruses as well as RS virus affect frequently respiratory tract. So called enteric viruses which are rotaviruses, adenoviruses, small round viruses, astroviruses, caliciviruses, corona viruses, Coxackie, ECHO may be the agents of disorders in digestive tract in the form of intoxications. Viruses of viral hepatitis B, C, D and HIV, CMV, EBV may be the source of nosocomial viral infections transmitted by blood (transfusions). |
