食管鳞状细胞癌中P16和P53蛋白的表达及临床意义

目的探讨P16、P53蛋白在食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)中的表达及其意义。方法利用SP法检测55例ESCC中P16和P53蛋白的表达情况。结果55例食管鳞癌中,P16蛋白表达阳性27例,占49%,P53蛋白表达阳性33例,占60%(33/55),P16和P53蛋白表达与淋巴结转移关系密切,P16蛋白的表达与有无家族史有一定的关系。结论P53、P16在食管癌的发生发展过程中起重要作用,它们蛋白的表达对食管癌恶性程度的评估有一定的参考价值。

Expression and clinical significance of P16 and P53 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of P53 and P16 proteins in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma （ESCC）. Methods The expression of P53 and PI6 protein in 55 cases with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was detected by immunohistochemical technique. Results Expression was tested positive for P16 protein in 27 cases （positive rate 49%） and for p53 protein in 33 cases （positive rate 60%）. The expression of P16 and P53 proteins was closely correlated to lymph node metastasis, and the expression of pl6 was also shown somehow linked to a family history. Conclusion P53 and PI6 may have important roles in development and progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Expression of P16 and P53 proteins may be relevant for evaluation of malignancy degree in esophageal cancer.
