VEGF与卵巢上皮癌组织类型及临床预后的关系

目的探讨VEGF与卵巢上皮性癌组织类型和临床预后的关系。方法用免疫组织化学方法检测VEGF在79例人卵巢上皮性癌组织中的表达,分析VEGF与卵巢上皮性癌组织学分类、临床分期、腹水、淋巴结转移、预后的关系。结果在79例卵巢上皮性癌中50例(63.3%)VEGF表达阳性。在晚期卵巢癌(P<0.01)、大量腹水(P<0.05)和腹水细胞学阳性(P<0.05)者中VEGF表达阳性率显著增高。结论VEGF在卵巢癌的发展和腹水形成中起着重要作用。检测肿瘤中VEGF的表达有助于了解卵巢癌的生物学特性,为患者提供预后信息。

The Relationship Between Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and Clinic Prognosis in Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma

Objective To study the relationship between VEGF and clinical prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.Methods VEGF expression was examined immunohistochemically in 79 epithelial ovarian tumors.The correlation between VEGF expression and histological tyes and clinical stages in epithelial ovarian carcinoma were analysed.Results Positive immunostaining for VEGF was observed in 50 out of 79 cases(63.3%).Positive VEGF immunostaining was observed more frequently in the advanced stage of disease(P<0.01),patients with large amount of ascitic volum, and patients with positive ascitic cytology(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a colse relationship between VEGF and clinical prognosis.VEGF plays an important role in the pathogenesis of ascites and progression of ovarian cancer.Evaluating the expression of VEGF can help to reveal the biological behavior of ovarian cancer and provide prognostic information for the patients.
