Abstract:A 14-year-old girl who presented with her 4 second deciduous molars submerged in the absence of permanent successors is reported. The teeth were ankylosed and impacted by the adjacent teeth. There was evidence of their having been in occlusion. Radiographic and histological evidence showed pulpal changes. The cause is discussed.
