The method and experience of attending ward round directed by chief physician

Objective To explore the effect of attending ward round directed by chief physician on nurses' diathesis and quality of nursing.Method All the nursing staff in different levels attended the ward rounds directed by chief physician periodically,and accepted his instructions and advices on nursing works.Result This practice improved nurses' diathesis,as well as quality of nursing.Conclusion Attending ward rounds directed by chief physician is helpful for nurses to understand patients' disease,learn advanced knowledge,facilitate nurse-doctor-patient communication and cooperation,improve professional techniques and comprehensive diathesis,promote nursing teaching and research,and improve the whole quality of nursing.
