| Abstract: | A 29-year-old man experienced a migrainous central retinal artery occlusion coincident with the initiation of propranolol therapy. The pharmacological effects of beta-blockade are discussed, and the use of beta-blockade in the acute management of anterior visual pathway migraine is examined. |
