微波能否治愈慢性咽炎的探讨

目的:评价微波治疗慢性咽炎的临床效果.方法:对78例经常规抗生素治疗无效的慢性咽炎患者采用微波治疗,观察其疗效及并发症.结果:78例随访3个月,治愈率8.97%,有效率48.72%,无效率51.28%;随访6个月,治愈率1.28%,有效率15.38%,无效率84.62%.出现萎缩性咽炎28例,咽干51例,咽部不适49例.结论:慢性咽炎病因复杂,微波对慢性咽炎的治疗并不能针对病因,近期对部分病例可暂时缓解症状,但可延误恶性肿瘤的诊断;远期疗效差并可产生各种并发症或加剧症状.因此,微波并不能治愈慢性咽炎.对慢性咽炎的治疗必须查明病因,针对病因治疗.

The discuss of whether mcrowave can cure chronic pharyngitis

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of microwave ablation in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis. Methods Microwave ablation therapy was performed in 78 cases of chronic pharyngitis unresponsive to routine antibiotics and its efficacy and related complications were observed. Results The cure rate, efficacy rate and inefficacy were 8. 97%, 48.72% and 51.28%, respectively in a follow-up of 3 months while 1.28%, 15.38% and 84. 62% in 6 months. Atrophic pharyngitis, dry throat and throat discomfort occurred in 28, 51 and 49 patients, respectively. Conclusion The etiology of chronic pharyngitis is complicated. Even though microwave therapy for chronic pharyngitis may temporarily relieve symptoms in some patients, it does not aim at the causes of the disease, may probably delay the diagnosis of malignancy, has a poor long-term effect, and can induce different complications or exacerbate the primary symptoms. Therefore, microwave therapy cannot cure chronic pharyngitis. The causes of chronic pharyngitis must be accurately identified and the treatment should be based on the etiology of the disease.
