牙龈组织炎症程度与COX-2蛋白表达的关系

目的:运用免疫组化技术观察牙龈组织中COX-2的表达,探讨COX-2与牙周病的关系。方法:首先对选用组织采用普通苏木素-伊红(HE)制片,观察炎症细胞浸润程度,根据炎症水平高低,选择两组进一步进行免疫组化检测,结果与正常组织相比较。结果:实验组COX-2蛋白表达要明显高于对照组(P<0.01)。结论:COX-2表达与炎症程度有关,炎症程度越高,COX-2表达也越高,两者呈正相关。

Study of relationship between cyclooxygenase -2 expression and degree of inflammation in gingival tissue

AIM:To find the expression of COX-2 in inflamed gingival tissue of adult patient with periodontitis by immunohistochemistry and its relationship to COX-2 expression.METHODS:In this study,the selected tissue were stained with HE stain firstly.Then the degree of inflammatory infiltration was assessed.According to the inflammatory level,two groups were selected for the immunohistochemical test.The results were compared with normal gingival tissue.RESULTS:In adult periodontitis group significantly greater expression of COX-2(P<0.01)was noted in gingival tissues as compared to the control group.CONCLUSION:This results showed that the expression of COX-2 was related to the inflammation.The more severe the inflammation was,the more expression of COX-2 in periodontal disease.The expression of COX-2 had positive relationship to inflammation.
