丘脑和基底节区生殖细胞瘤的MR影像

摘    要:目的研究丘脑和基底节区生殖细胞瘤的MR影像特征。方法经手术及病理证实的丘脑和基底节区生殖细胞瘤17例,全为男性,年龄7~18岁,平均12.05岁。全部作了平扫和Gd-DTPA增强扫描。结果17例中,12例位于基底节区,2例位于丘脑,3例同时累及丘脑和基底节区,横断面上最大径65mm,最小径30mm,平均46.43mm,16例增强不均匀,11例无瘤旁水肿,5例水肿较轻,4例出现同侧大脑半球萎缩。结论丘脑和基底节区生殖细胞瘤的发病性别、年龄和MR影像表现具有一定特点,在多数情况下可作出术前诊断。

Abstract:Objective:To study the MRI findings of germinomas arising fromthe basal ganglia and thalamus.Methods:The MRI findings of 17 patients with germinomas arising from the basal ganglia and thalamus were reviewed retrospectively.All cases were proved by operation and pathology.All cases were male,ranging in age from 7~18 years with a median of 12.05 years.Results:In this series,12 were located in the basal ganglia,2 in the thalamus and 3 in both regions.The tumors rarely had associated edema.4 patients demonstrated cortical atrophy ipilaterally.Most of the turmors′enhancerment was hetergeneous.In axial section,the diametre ranged from 30 mm to 65 mm,46.43 mm on an average.Conclusion:The germinomas arising from the basal ganglia and thalamus have sex,age and MR imaging charateristics,and in most it is possible to make preoperaltive diagnosis by MRI.
