广州市食管鳞状细胞癌p53蛋白的积聚

中国食管癌低发区ｐ５３蛋白的改变未见报道。本文研究广州市食管鳞癌中ｐ５３蛋白的积聚情况，并对ｐ５３蛋白积聚与肿瘤细胞增殖的关系进行探讨。方法：用免疫组化方法检测４０例广州市食管鳞癌ｐ５３蛋白积聚及ＰＣＮＡ的表达。

p53 protein accumulation in squamous cell carcinomas of esophagus in Guangzhou

Objective:To study p53 protein accumulation of esophageal carcinoma in Guangzhou,a low incident area in our country and to analyse the possible relationship between p53 protein accumulation and tumor proliferation.Methods:40 specimens of esophageal squamous cell carcinomas,obtained in Guangzhou,were tested for p53 protein accumulation and PCNA by using immunohistochemical echnic.Results:The positive rates of p53 protein were 65.0%(with CM 1 Ab) and 77.5%(with Do 7 Ab).The p53 protein was not only positive in cells of carcinoma in situ but also in surrounding preinvasive hyperplastic and dysplastic cells.The result of PCNA immunostaining is very similar to that of p53 protein accumulation.Conclusions: p53 protein accumulation was commonly found in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in Guangzhou.This indicates that p53 is involved in the cell proliferation of malignant cells,and it may serve as an indicator of malignancy.
