| Abstract: | Irritable bowel syndrome may result from depressed liver attacking spleen or spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity. Its treatment is based on the etiology and pathogenesis, concentrates on discharging liver and relieving depression, or on nourishing spleen and stomach. Two proven cases were presented. |
