Clinical Significance of sRAGE and RAGE in Patients with Gastric Cancer

Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical significance of sRAGE and RAGE in patients with gastric cancer.Methods 78 patients with gastric cancer(gastric cancer group)and 78 patients with benign gastric tumors were enrolled.The expression of RAGE were detected by immunohistochemistry,the expression level of sRAGE were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results The expression level of sRAGE in gastric cancer group were significantly higher than that in benign group(P<0.05).The positive rates of RAGE expression in gastric cancer group were 83.3%,which were significantly higher than that in benign group(20.5%)(P<0.05).In the gastric cancer group,the expression level of sRAGE were significantly correlated with clinical stage,tumor diameter,serosal invasion,and histological differentiation(P<0.05).Logistic analysis showed that clinical stage,tumor diameter,and serosal infiltration affected patients with RAGE.The main factor of positive expression rate(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of sRAGE in the blood of patients with gastric cancer are high,and the expression of RAGE are also high in the tissues.there are significantly correlated with the clinical stage,tumor diameter,serosal invasion and histological differentiation.
