Study on the Effects of Two Asparaginases on the Short-term Prognosis and Serum LDH,SF and ESR of Children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Objective To investigate the effects of two asparaginases on the short-term prognosis and serum LDH,SF and ESR of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.Methods 86 cases of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia diagnosed and treated were randomly divided into 2 groups,43 cases in the control group were treated with L-asparaginase,and 43 cases in the observation group were treated with Pegaspargase.The short-term curative effects,blood routine,serum LDH,SF and ESR,length of hospital stay and frequency of medication,and adverse reactionsoccurrence of the 2 groups were compared.ResultsThe short-term total effective rate of the observation group was 95.3%(41/43),slightly higher than 90.7%(39/43)of the control group,but the difference between the 2 groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in hemoglobin(Hb),white blood cell count(WBC),red blood cell count(RBC),platelet count(PLT)between the 2 groups before treatment(P>0.05),after treatment,the blood routine indexes of the 2 groups were different improved,but the differences between the 2 groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in serum LDH,SF and ESR between the 2 groups(P>0.05),after treatment,the above indicators of the 2 groups were significantly reduced,and the serum LDH,SF and ESR of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The stay length of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group,and the medication frequency was significantly less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of allergic reactions and hypoalbuminemia of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Both L-asparaginase and Pegasparaginase are satisfactory for the short-term prognosis of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia,and can significantlyimprove the blood routine and blood biochemical indexes,Pegasparaginase can better improve serum LDH,SF and ESR levels,with shorter hospital stays and fewer medications,effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions such as allergic reactions and hypoalbuminemia,it is a safer and more effective medication regimen.
